Packer – Blueberry Square (New Store)

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Packer for their new store at Blueberry Square, Roodepoort, Johannesburg.

Role Overview

• Position: Packer

• Location: Blueberry Square, Roodepoort, Johannesburg

• Purpose: Ensure efficient and accurate receiving and packing of stock according to Dis-Chem’s operational standards and customer needs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 / Matric

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months relevant retail receiving experience

• Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic mathematics and computer literacy (MS Office)

  • Good command of English and reading comprehension

  • Attention to detail, trustworthy, and honest

• Physical Requirements: Fit to lift and move heavy boxes

• Other: South African citizen with clear credit and criminal records

Key Responsibilities

• Unload stock from supplier delivery vehicles

• Verify product allocation and sort items onto pallets

• Report discrepancies such as damages or wrong labels

• Assist the Receiving Clerk with checking processes

• Pack stock accurately onto shelves or pallets

• Complete administrative forms for damages or accidents
