Requirements (Eligibility Criteria)

For Matriculants (Grade 12):

  • Must have completed Matric/Grade 12.

  • English: Level 6 and above.

  • Pure Maths: Level 6 and above.

  • Physical Science: Level 6 and above.

  • Age: Unemployed South African citizen between 18 – 25 years.

  • No other funding: Must not be receiving other bursaries or NSFAS.

For University Students:

  • Minimum Academic Average: 65% and above in the current year of study (Grade 12 or Tertiary).

  • Must be studying or accepted for full-time study in the fields listed above at a recognized local institution.

  • Must meet the registration criteria of the training institution.

  • No other funding: Must not be receiving other bursaries or NSFAS.

Required Documents

Applications must include clear copies of the following:

  • Motivation Letter.

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).

  • ID Document.

  • For Matriculants: Grade 11 results, Grade 12 Trial marks (when available), and University Acceptance Letter.

  • For Tertiary Students: Full Tertiary Academic Record and University Acceptance Letter.
