Role Purpose
This position involves performing general production duties within the manufacturing environment. The successful candidates will support the Production team by handling products, shrink-wrapping, sorting damaged items, loading, cleaning, and carrying out additional tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support: Carry out basic general work tasks within the production department.
Product Handling: Shrink-wrap products, sort damaged goods, and assist with loading.
Compliance: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when completing tasks.
Health & Safety: Adhere strictly to all Health and Safety regulations.
Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping standards in the work area.
Additional Duties: Perform ad-hoc tasks as instructed by management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Grade 12 / National Certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
Language: Fluent in Business English.
Availability: Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Work Conditions: Able to perform duties in demanding or extreme working environments.
