Role Overview
Kimberly-Clark is looking for a motivated individual to join their Quality team at Enstra Mill in Springs. This in-service traineeship provides hands-on exposure to the FMCG industry, focusing on maintaining product quality and ensuring operator self-controls function effectively across the production process.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance: Conduct product testing and verification throughout manufacturing stages, including RFP, to detect defects.
Data Analysis: Track quality trends and work with operations to make timely corrective decisions.
Inspections: Perform routine product inspections and specialized low-frequency testing.
Material Testing: Examine raw materials for defects and verify non-conformance reports (NCRs) on the factory floor.
Safety & Housekeeping: Comply with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and maintain “5-S” laboratory housekeeping.
Communication: Manage shift handovers and report defects to production teams for corrective action.
Requirements
Education: National Diploma or NQF Level 6, preferably in Quality or Pulp & Paper.
Skills: Computer literate with basic knowledge of laboratory/testing equipment.
Experience: 1 year in an FMCG or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
