Role Overview
Yuppiechef is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Finance & Administration Clerk to assist the finance team with daily operational tasks. This opportunity suits someone with solid administrative and numerical skills who wants to develop within a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Administration: Registering new suppliers, reviewing and approving invoices, and completing statement reconciliations.
Financial Reconciliations: Reconciling payment gateways, credit card transactions, and various company accounts (e.g., travel).
Processing Tasks: Managing customer refunds, supplier claims, and expense claims.
General Administration: Ordering and issuing stationery and generating ad hoc invoices.
Query Resolution: Supporting stores and online teams with payment-related queries.
Requirements
Qualification: Completed Degree or Higher National Diploma in Finance or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years’ experience within a finance environment, ideally in retail.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong reconciliation experience and ability to handle high-volume invoicing.
Knowledge of statutory returns such as EMP201 and VAT201.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical thinking with strong attention to detail.
