Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Currently enrolled in a Mechatronic Engineering Diploma or related program
Academic Criteria:
Grade 12 Mathematics with a minimum of 40%
Two South African languages with at least 40%
Eligibility:
South African citizen
Employment Equity candidate
Age between 18 and 35
Unemployed at the time of appointment
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and assist with maintenance of equipment and building systems
Support troubleshooting and repair of faulty equipment in collaboration with senior engineers
Maintain records of maintenance activities and analyze equipment performance
Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations (HACCP, NOSA, ISO)
Assist in departmental projects and process improvement initiatives
