Program Overview
As an accredited SAICA Training Office, South African Breweries (SAB) offers a comprehensive 36-month DynamX Finance Trainee program. This initiative is designed for high-caliber accounting graduates intending to complete their practical requirements and qualify as Chartered Accountants, CA(SA).
Trainees will follow a rotational path within the finance ecosystem, providing deep exposure to corporate financial operations while receiving structured mentorship from seasoned Chartered Accountants.
Core Rotations & Exposure
Financial Control & Accounting: Hands-on training in core financial accounting, auditing protocols, and compliance frameworks.
Specialized Finance Functions: Operational rotations across accounts-to-report, corporate taxation, cash management, risk mitigation, and treasury structures.
Professional Development: Continuous learning aligned strictly with SAICA Training Regulations to prepare for final professional evaluations.
Key Requirements
Educational Credentials:Candidates must be in their final year of completion or already possess a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA / CTA) from a SAICA-accredited academic institution.
Experience Level: No prior professional work history is required (entry-level graduate intake).
Technical Skills: Sound foundational knowledge of IFRS, high analytical capacity, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Microsoft Excel) and basic accounting software tools.
Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, strong problem-solving abilities, professional ethics, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to adapt to a fast-paced FMCG corporate environment.
