Program Overview

This structured, 12-month learnership is designed for ambitious, unemployed graduates seeking to build a commercial career within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. This field-based role offers immersive training on the ground, focusing heavily on retail partnerships, brand activations, and commercial operations within local territories.

Core Responsibilities

  • Customer Development: Establish and nurture strategic business partnerships with local commercial accounts and tavern owners through consistent site visits and prompt problem resolution.

  • AMPPS Execution: Implement the company's core retail framework across outlets by optimizing product Availability, strategic Merchandising, Price communication, Promotional campaigns, and shelf Space.

  • Stock & Asset Management: Perform inventory tracking to guarantee 100% availability of key brands, oversee stock rotation protocols, and manage the deployment of company assets (such as fridges and brand signage).

  • Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on local market shifts, track competitor shelf footprint, and enforce pricing compliance to boost volume growth.

Key Requirements

  • Academic Qualifications: A completed Post-Matric Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related commercial field.

  • Driver's License: A valid, unendorsed Code 8 (Class B) driver’s license (candidates will be subject to a practical driving competency assessment).

  • Technical Proficiency: Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Working Hours: Flexibility to work unconventional schedules, including weekends and public holidays, as dictated by field demands.

  • Key Competencies: High adaptability, strong negotiation and selling skills, excellent administrative organization, personal resilience, and a results-driven attitude.
