Role Purpose
The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, snacks, and food items to customers either directly or through waitrons. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring that the bar and service areas remain clean, organised, and fully stocked.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Welcome customers, take orders promptly (within five minutes of seating), and resolve complaints efficiently and professionally.
Service Standards: Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the bar and service areas at all times while adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
Stock Control: Prepare stock requisitions, monitor fast-moving items, ensure fridges are well-stocked, and rotate stock accordingly.
Financial Management: Manage a cash float, process cash and card payments, and complete daily sales reconciliations.
Administration: Capture orders on the POS (GAAP) system and obtain authorization from the F&B Supervisor for void transactions.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience within the Service Industry is essential.
Advantageous: Experience using POS systems (specifically GAAP) and exposure to stock management processes will be beneficial.
